Legends in Concert is a tribute featuring Cher, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Neil Diamond live all at the River Cree Entertainment Centre for TWO NIGHTS - February 22 and 23! Celebrating 35 years of success as the longest-running production show in Las Vegas, this staple performs 10 shows a week, year round in the historic Donny and Marie Showroom. The tribute artists perform using their own natural voices, and are backed by a live band that rocks the house with vivacious back-up singers and dancers who bring the performances to life.
Lisa McClowry as Cher
Lisa McClowry has over 30 years in the entertainment industry as a trusted, reliable source and talent. In 2016, LMac made an official shift in her music career from recording artist, supporting her original music CD releases, touring and live performances to currently performing live theme-based shows/concerts.
Karen Hester as Dolly Parton
Karen Hester, started by singing at family reunions, gospel quartets and trios, and then ventured into theatrical productions and country music. Drawing inspiration from Madonna, Cindy Lauper, Martina McBride and Dolly Parton, she has performed in hit musicals and opened for Trace Adkins and Ricky Van Shelton. Harnessing this wide array of professional experience, and topping it off with outstanding costumes, wigs and makeup, Karen brings her Dolly Parton act to life for Legends in Concert.
Dave Karl as Kenny Rogers
Tribute artist, singer, song-writer, Dave Karl, started out as a kid doing cartoon character voices for family and friends - an early discovery of impersonating! From 1986 to 1993 Dave was invited to be a member of a well-known Chicago Country music group, "Heartland", playing keyboard and guitar, and opening for Marie Osmond, Lee Greenwood, Ronnie Milsap, and many others. After the band split in 1993, he focused on being a single act, and in 2008, put together " A Touch of Kenny". His ability to impersonator Kenny comes so easily for him because even his own speaking voice is dead on to Kenny's voice.
Barrie Cunningham as Neil Diamond
Barrie Cunningham is best known for his incredible tributesover 30 years to the legendary Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffett, and Neil Young. Barry caught his first glimpse of Diamond when he was 16 in New York, when he not only played his own music but songs like “If I Had A Hammer” too. Barry brings that magic of Neil Diamond to the stage with his incredible look and precise vocals. Barrie is especially gratified when fans acknowledge him with comments like, "You look and sound more like Neil Diamond than he does".
